What is Potenza?     

Potenza leverages two beneficial skin solutions – radiofrequency and microneedling – to kickstart skin rejuvenation.    

As we place the microneedle tip on the top layer of skin, tiny needles penetrate the tissue and apply focused RF energy to the targeted area. This allows us to superficially target surface imperfections while deeply heating the skin to renew structure, density, and pliability. What should I expect during a Potenza treatment?    

Thanks to the quality of the treatment, use of numbing cream, and the expertise of The G Spa team, there is minimal discomfort or pain during a Potenza session. Some patients experience a slight stinging sensation (playfully deemed “spicy skin!”) and some patients experience very mild pinpoint bleeding in sensitive skin areas.    

 Other microneedling options require treating areas multiple times during a single session to account for different layers of skin. Thanks to the innovative Tiger Tip, treatment durations are often cut in half because the device can treat multiple layers of skin at one time. No need to retrace our steps – most areas only need to be treated with one pass!   

The length of the session depends on the area being treated, but many treatments last about 30-60 minutes. 

What should I expect after a Plasma Pen treatment?    

Patients should expect mild redness, swelling, and tenderness immediately after the treatment. These symptoms will wear off after a few days.    

During this time, post-treatment skin protection is of utmost importance. Taking some time out of the sun, letting the skin go through the natural healing process undisturbed, and only using the recommended skincare products can all maximize the results of your Potenza treatment.    

How long do results last?    

 Our patients have different goals, priorities, and expectations. Overall results depend on the customizable nature of the treatment plan, from the targeted areas to the number of sessions.    

Many Patients choose to have 4-6 treatments, scheduled 6 weeks apart. The benefits of Potenza will be noticeable after a couple of weeks and will continue to improve after the series is finished. Most patients can enjoy their full results about 12 weeks after their last treatment!
