Plasma Pen is an innovative new treatment that addresses fine lines and wrinkles primarily on the face and neck.
PLASMA PEN
Plasma Pen is targeted, precise correction for fine lines, wrinkles, loose skin, and scars. Unlike lasers, Plasma Pen’s tiny probe is the size of a 30g needle so it can get into areas that other devices cannot. That is the beauty of Plasma Pen!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Plasma Pen uses the conversion of electrical energy into energized nitrogen gas that transmits energy to the skin. In treatment, the device never touches the skin. The tiny device tip travels along the fine line or wrinkle, treating above and below the line to contract the skin, lifting and tightening the area immediately with a series of micro ablations.
These micro-injuries produce pinpoint-sized carbon crusts. The body’s robust healing response signals fibroblasts to create new collagen and elastin. After a few days, the crusts fall away and reveal a visibly lifted, tightened appearance. By strengthening the dense connective tissue, fine lines are decreased, and wrinkles are significantly softened with just one treatment!
Plasma Pen is best for tightening and lifting specific areas of the face and body. Common treatment areas are:
Depending on skin condition and patient concerns, more than one treatment is usually necessary to achieve optimal results. Treatments are 90 days apart. Plasma Pen may be used as a stand-alone treatment, or as part of a combination treatment plan.
During recovery, there are always tiny pinpoint carbon crusts that form in the treated area. Skin can be pink and swelling is common in treatment areas around the eyes. The carbon crusts that form cannot be disrupted and must be allowed to fall away naturally over about 7 days.
